you may find that she won't rehome her though. However, you may want to consider rehoming another pair from Dookies or offering a loving home to some free to good home ferrets off preloved.

If you manage to get Charlie back, you will need to get a friend for her. Ferrets are always better in pairs.
I suppose it is for the best, I have never had ferrets before and to be honest know nothing about them, or their needs. It is enough with a six year old two dogs and a cat - no doubt we will also be coming to the time of rabbits and Hamsters in due course!

I hope she has some attention. She didn't seem very timid to me, more than happy to come out an explore, considering she didn't know anything about us, or where we were - I expect all the changes she has undergone will have knocked her confidence a little bit.

THinking about it, I think she has been around for several days, we had a few occassions where the dogs were barking late at night (the sit on the window seat in the kitchen), although there was never anything outside, I am now wondering if she was out there - we leave the cat food outside at night if she hasn't come in and maybe Charlie was taking that and that is why she came up to us.

Anyway, I think it is right for her to have a home with someone who knows about her needs, she just managed to get into our hearts for a bit, we will get used to it, although my dd has asked if we can go and visit her - not sure what Dookies will think of that!
