hi every1 i put up a thread the other day for help and am glad to say a took on every1s advice and am pleased to say its working i am hardly getting bitin at all its more playfull nips i have never owned ferrets before and i have to say i adore them there great pets and in the future i can see me geting more once my babies are maybe 2 or 3 so thanks every1 who helped

Ferrets are mentalists
Took me ages to get used to mine and even now I get bitten occasionally, but it is always an attention or play bite (still hurts tho! )
Once they are used to you, and you to them, things get easier

am starting to get used to them now am starting to work them out a bit better and am realy enjoying them at first i thought what have i done but now am starting to get better at understanding them i love them and wouldnt change them for enything

I had the feeling of "omg what have i done" too when i got mine lol... i`m also a first time ferret owner.. i got Aphrodite first ( birthday prezzie off my mum ), then people on here adviced me to get another for company for her so i went to the breeder where Aphrodite came from and got her sister Athena. Zeus followed 4-5 weeks later, he`s my baby lol.. I love mine to bits but have to admit that i`m still alittle timid of them.
