Hi,
As you know we have been looking for another kitten.
Having looked through the internet for adds for people selling we have found multiple adds for a persian kitten all with professional pictures but different text in the add and coming up for various citys and on various. Having contacted this person they advised that they are in Birmingham but would send the kitten to us which we feel is a bit strange considering we are in Aberdeen. It also states on the add that they want the kitten to 'go to someone in your country'. Has anyone experienced anything like this when looking for a kitten.
Thanks

Are you a cat lover who can offer a Lucy and Spencer a safe and loving forever home where they can grow and flourish?

Lucy and Spencer were abandoned to fend for themselves in an empty house along with 30+ other cats and kittens. They are a closely bonded brother and sister and are approximately 7 months old. They have been spayed & neutered.
They need to find their home for LIFE with humans who understand that taking on a kitten can be 15+ years of commitment and who understand that rescue cats sometimes need time to settle into a new home. Their two siblings have gone to a lovely home together, so I feel it's only fair that these two should stay together also - although I understand this is a big ask!

These beautiful kittens would be better suited to a quiet home without dogs or young children and not on or near a busy street. Initially, Spencer and Lucy seem painfully shy but as soon as they get to know you they are sweet, playful and friendly kittens. They love to play together and keep each other entertained.
Lucy is a tomboy who loves to wrestle with her brother and chase the laser light. She likes to interact with you by playing games. Once Spencer gains your trust he is the ultimate lap cat, who just wants to sit himself on your knee and receive lots of fuss and special attention. He particularly likes being brushed. Their different personalities complement each other very well!

Any prospective home will be checked out for suitability, so you would have to be agreeable to a home check visit. This is for the benefit of both the new owner and for the cats. If you think you can provide the purrfect home for these two little cats who've been badly let down by humans, contact me via this website or email me at ej_clarke@yahoo.co.uk.

You can read much more about them on their own webpage - click on the link below (where there is also a link to a facebook album of photos going right back to the day they were rescued and the conditions they were rescued from):
Cat profile for Spencer & Lucy Need a Home!, a female Domestic Shorthair

There will be an adoption fee of £60 for the pair.

Poor Bertie is approx 12yrs old (according to neighbours who knew him as a kitten) and has sadly lost his owner who died approx 2 months ago. Unfortunately Bertie was then just left to his own devices and it was the kind neighbours who kept him going by feeding him. Unfortunately their cat would not welcome Bertie into their household, so they contact StreetKatz Rescue who took Bertie into the warm.
He is such a laid back gentle cat and is looking for a household where he can laze around on peoples laps and wander outside into the garden.

Dakota is a young female 1-2 years old.
She is mainly an indoor cat but does enjoy supervised excess to the garden when her owner is gardening.
She is very much a peoples cat and will follow you around.
Owner says
"She has a flash of torti in her temperament so wouldn't home with young kids
as can be stroppy, generally shes a very loving cat, doesn't mind being
groomed but if in a naughty mood tries to bite the comb/brush, very low
maintenance coat, she keeps it well herself.
She sits on worktops, dinner tables and beds so new owner not to have issues
with these kind of behaviours because she wont stop lol also likes to talk,
not full on like a siamese but a reasonable amount.

Eats a mainly wet diet, felix poultry pouches and purina proplan, this suits
her digestion well as other foods have upset it."

She is looking for a home with no other cats and no young children.
She can go with a cat friendly dog.
She must go to a home where there is someone in most of the time.
She would suit a retired couple or someone who works from home.
If you are interested in her please pm me.

Cookie is a very fluffy ginger and white female cat, aged 15 months. She is very small for her age and is thinner than her thick coat suggests (although she does love her food!).

Cookie is one of a number of cats which came in to us when their owner moved away. She was pregnant and malnourished. Cookie is now a happy, healthy little cat who likes her creature comforts. She loves her cuddles and likes the company of other cats and dogs.

Cookie is very affectionate with her fosterer but is still a little shy with people she does not know and for this reason we think she would do best in an adult household which is not too busy. Her coat will need brushing a few times a week to keep it in tip top condition.

As with all our cats, Cookie is spayed, chipped and will have the first stage of vaccination at least completed. She is used to going outside so her new home will have to provide a safe garden for her to explore.

Demelza is a red Tiffanie female cat aged 7 yrs. This beautiful, friendly girl loves people and other cats but is untried with dogs.

Demelza has lived in a multi-cat household with limited access to outside but, like most of the cats we have homed from this house, would enjoy a safe garden to explore. So her new home should have direct access to a secure garden.

Most of these cats are unsuitable to be only cats unless someone is around all day. Demelza has a very silky coat which is easy to brush. She is spayed and will be chipped and have the first stage of her vaccination at least before she is rehomed.
************************************************** ********
Sanssouci is a brown tortie tabby Tiffanie female cat, aged 3 yrs. She has been spayed recently and will be chipped and have the first stage of her vaccination at least before she is rehomed.

Sanssouci is a very playful and affectionate little cat who loves people. She also has lived with other cats and would be unhappy on her own. Sanssouci has had very limited access to outside but would not like to live for ever in a flat with no outdoor space so we are looking for a home with a safe garden for her to explore and at least one other playmate of a similar age.
************************************************** ********
Scarlett is a 9yr old female Red Shaded Silver Tiffanie cat. She has never been outdoors, but would love a quiet and secure garden to explore. She is slightly nervous at first, but once she gets to know you she loves being stroked and brushed. She is currently being fostered with Frankie, and they can be homed together or separately.
************************************************** ********
Frankie is a 10yr old male Brown Shaded Silver Tiffanie cat. He too, has never been outside but would love to explore a secure garden. He loves nothing more than to be fussed over, adores being brushed & stroked and is a very gentle cat. He goes up to anybody who goes into see him and Scarlett. Like Scarlett, he can be homed with her or separately.

I have a lovely little black and white male kitten to rehome to a nice person. He is 9 weeks old and i rescued him from someone when he was 4 weeks old. He wasnt cared for very well but is now a lovely, confident little man so i think its time he went to someone who will care for him and love him. He has been microchipped.

I also have a black female cat who is just over a year old I also rescued her and she was pregnant but unfortunatley all of her seven babies died within the first few days :( She has now adopted the little kitten above and treats him like her own and looks out for him. I would love for these 2 to go together but aslong as they both go to good homes its not essential. I have had her spayed and microchipped.

I would love to keep them myself but already have too many.

Please can anyone help? My poor tom cat Moxy has become more and more stressed since the birth of my baby daughter 7 weeks ago, to the point where he hides under a chair in the kitchen and refuses to come out. He has started pulling his own hair out and won't eat properly. I hate to see him so unhappy, he is a beautiful cat, and the most loving tom cat I have ever come across, and likes to be cuddled all day. He is a house cat, and unfortunately I have to shut him out of some rooms as he obviously cannot be left unsupervised with the baby. He is not coping with this at all well, and we have come to the conclusion that he needs a home where he will be the centre of attention. It is impossible for us to give him the amount of attention that he needs with a new baby in the house. He is house trained, and has been neutered. He is on waiting lists with RSPCA and other cat rescue organisations, but this could take a long time, and in the meantime he is so stressed and miserable. Please let me know if you can help, I would love to see him happy again in a new home.

Companion wanted for bereaved Burmese

Our 4-yr-old blue Burmese girl lost her brother this weekend after a chronic non-infectious illness (severe IBD) finally got the better of him. She is already bored and lonely despite our best efforts to keep her entertained (her brother spent his final two weeks in cat hospital), so we are looking for a new companion who might fill a gap in her life.

Ideally we'd like a cat of similar age and temperament, or perhaps two older kittens - like most Burmese she is very lively and loves chasing and play-fighting, but is also very sweet-natured at heart (she and her brother managed to get along OK with my husband's elderly and bad-tempered moggy - now deceased) and I'm sure she will adapt well to a new cat if the introductions are handled carefully.

Her new friend would need to be an indoor-only cat as we live near a busy road - ideally a youngish adult of one of the oriental breeds who would not be intimidated by Burmese athletics! We have no other indoor pets (we have bantams in the garden) and no children; I have been keeping cats of various breeds, as well as moggies, for over thirty years.

I have already contacted one or two of the relevant breeds' welfare officers, but thought it might be worth asking around :)

TIA

As you can see im new here.

Due to a sudden change in circumstances i need to rehome my pets.

I love them dearly and would like them to go to a loving home (which im sure it would be!)

I thought id ask here before i go to the RSPCA or Blue Cross.

I have 2 boys, both castrated, wormed, de-flead, vaccinated and chipped.

Bailey is 15 months old and is ginger and white. He is loving and independent.

Sampson is 9 months old and is a Siamese/Tabby cross. He is bundles of fun and extremely affectionate.

Ideally i would like them to go together. I will drive them to you if it isnt too far - i live in Windsor.

If you are interested or would like some more details please e-mail me:
