i really just need to know something i have been desperately searching (have been for ages for a fantastic horse to loan with perhaps v.t.b.)
Although i have spent absolutely ages on this laptop scouring sites in the vein hope i can find just one person with the right horse for me , i seem unable to do so , and i really feel like giving up.
It's heartbreaking right now i would settle for a bucking bronco.(lol)
I offer a fantastic quality home life (owners can visit whenever), knowledgeable , genuine caring and loving home .With a owner who will be so devoted , i have had a eleven year break and have started searching, after wanting to return for forever.
"An ethos of mine a good rider can get a horse to listen a great rider listens back."
I know i will be rusty , and perhaps if i started lessons this may make me a more credible choice , however i would prefer to have lesson on something of my own , so i can bond with him/her (hope this makes sense).
I am searching for a loan schoolmaster/mistress all-rounder type 15+hh. Genuine honest reliable and sane, a confidence giver .
To help me return to a sport i thoroughly enjoyed and was very passionate about.
I was hoping to be able to enjoy those wonderful crisp morning hacks with my daughter and her pony and am so frustrated i am unable to find a horse i can cherish:-(. . I have posted in several forums but nothing ?? am i doing something wrong am i really just reaching for that back of beyond ??.please can someone just give me a little hope.

Hi there I recently bought a 5'3 Fleece for my 8month old Colt.
However it fits him perfectly in the length, but is way too big in the width of the rug, and if I was to leave it on him he would most likley get his legs caught.

So Im going to have to save that one, but what the heck should i buy instead?

Its a Fleece for in his stable/Under a turnout rug (When I actually buy him one)

Any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks

hi

i may be talking out of place, but it was very upsetting to find that none of the rescue centres are taking horses,is there a scheme similar to dog charities . Mawhere a person can sponsor a horse. to help horse charities. Maybe if the
Daily Mail are showing sympathy, maybe if we strike as the iron is hot. we can get the Daily Mail to run an advert f.o.c re sponsoring
Because horses need a voice just as other animals do.

Hi My names Karl im 20, I Rescued a Black Roan Colt About 4months ago (he is 8 months old know)

When I bought Him, He was basically Wild , He bucked, Reared and Kicked at the dealer who was trying to sell him, (The dealer said he was nasty,) (He wasnt he was Just Terrified of Humans)

So I made the owner move out of the way and just spent an hour getting closer to the horse one stop at a time (every time you moved too near He went insane)

You could count his Every rib, and bone,
After Getting him home I immediatley Called out my local vet,as he had an abcess under his chin, that looked severly infected.

The Vet Came out Gave him a TB shot, and a shot of penacilin, and gave a 5 day course of antibiotics. (and Insisted it was strangles, so we had swabs done)

The swab results came back and it wasnt strangles after all.

He has know put masses of weight on, and is happy, I can do most things with him know (Apart from get his fleece on him LOL)(But in time that will go on)

He Even had his first Hoof Trim yesterday by the Farrier , And didnt even flinch.

Hes So Friendly and loveable
