Pregnant German Shepherd Bitch in Barnsley, South Yorkshire ( Dogs For Sale )

absolutley stunning bitch, 3 years old. sable in colour (sandy colour)

fantastic with children of all ages, my youngest is 18 months old and has been around her since birth.

excellent temperament. and loves absolutley everybody. including cats and other dogs.

she has had one litter before which she self whelped brilliantly herself. she had 11 pups before all of which took after her for her stunning looks.

we have recently mated her 3 times with the same dog as before ( which the first time we mated her they only tied once and she became pregnant) so she should most definatley be pregnant.

genuine reason for sale, she was my grans dog who passed away and with already having two shepherds am finding it hard to cope.

please only genuine enquirys. not kc registered but has pedigree card. i think £400 is a reasonable price ofr a pregnant bitch.

*WARNING* Some pics may offend the weak hearted! Sorry about the size!!

So, as some of you may have read my thread about a neighbor of mine that was breeder pit bulls merely for profit (here is the thread). Well, here are some updates.

-The mother of these pups started running around and getting into all of the trash in the neighborhood, and she was terribly malnourished and underweight. The dog chased my moms yorkie, chased my neighbors cat, and also chased their daughter.
This dog was shot by a farmer, sadly. When I asked them about the whole situation and if they were upset about it, they said that they were actually happy that it had happened so that they didn't have to worry about her any longer since they determined she was too old to breed again.
They purchased more dogs to raise and breed, and it made me sick to my stomach.

About a week ago, I remember seeing a U-Haul truck sitting in their driveway. The next day they were gone and had abandoned their dogs and all of the un-sold pups, which was about 8 dogs in all. Aparantly they had gotten in trouble for making meth and they left before they could get arrested.

One of the dogs, a white pitt female, got out of the yard and was running loose. This dog in particular was VERY friendly and loved everyone, and she was also under weight. This dog ended up getting shot by the farmer who had killed the other pit, but she wasn't killed. She had a bullet hole through the top of her head. It didn't puncture the skull though, and went through just beneath the skin. She was very lucky.

My mom and I were restless as to what we needed to do with these dogs since we cared about them. I found homes for 3 of the puppies, and with some mere luck, a guy heard about the dogs and came and got the rest of them. This guy was a disabled marine core guy who was epileptic. He had a pittbull as his service dog, and also trained pits for service. He came out and got all of the pups and they are now in training to detect seizures.

So a terrible start ended happily.
Hope ya'll enjoyed my update!

Below a couple of pics of the white female that was shot in the head.

I have just logged on after my (*whispers*) 'Chorkie thread' and I wanted to say:

1) Sorry for opening a can of worms
2) Thank you for the fab advice.
I am unable to post on there as it has been closed?

Anyway, since my original thead I have found a rescue local to me and I am going to contact them to see if they need a new volunteer. That way I can learn about dogs before I jump straight in and buy one. You never know, I may just adopt one!

Thanks again,
Hayley. x

I'm thinking about starting to breed some dogs. I haven't had a dog for a few years-but I used to have 3 labradors, and I want to do this responsibly. I saw these pictures the other day and I was so drawn to them. I have heard they take a lot of looking after, which I'm happy to do as I have a lot of free time, but does anyone have any experiences to share? and as this would be my first time breeding, do you think this would be a mistake?

I'm arguing with my OH here over an advert I found about a 13 month old male for stud. I'm saying 13 months is to young and they should wait till the stud is 2 years of age. He on the other hand is saying a year old is fine and just two and half years for the bitch.

I need full logical reasons as to who's right or wrong as he's a very logical person.

I have always heard and was told the stud had to be 2 years of age as well as the bitch.
Since neither of are breeders and are arguing to point blank and finding google is useless I thought i'd try here so please enlighten me.
