The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a breed apart. They are known as the "Nanny Dog" because of their affection for children.They thrive on human company. They are the 5th most popular breed in the UK and have high entries in the Terrier Dog Group at Dog Shows. They are loving loyal and highly intelligent.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed was recognised by the UK Kennel Club on the 25th May 1935.
