The Pug dog breed is a small to medium sized dog with a wrinkly face. In the UK Kennel club the Pug is categorised in the Toy Dog Group.

As far as I can tell this breed of dog originated in China.

At first glance you can't help but like the adorable characteristics of this breed with their squashed face and its likable looks.the breed comes in four colours, black,fawn with a black mask (the face being black), silver (mainly American pugs) and apricot. Pugs can weigh in at about 8 Kgms,have a broad chest and have a muscular appearance.

Pugs tend to have a good natured style and make excellent pets. They are great with children and other dogs.

One thing that I have found is that they snore terribly and do a lot of snorting, but dont let that put you off buying one as once they are in your home they are very faithfull, loyal and true.
