The Japanese Shiba Inu breed of dog is a small breed from Japan. The breed is actually the smallest of 6 breeds which have come from Japan.

In the UK Kennel Club, the Japanese Shiba Inu is categorised in the Utility Dog Group.

Shibas are originally japanese, helping owners to chase small gae out of shrubs and bushes whichgives them their name ' little brushwood dog'
