[edit] Introduction

For those of you that have ever known or had the pleasure of owning or meeting an English Lop you will know that once these guys have touched your heart they will always remain there! A truly stunning and amazing breed......

These are the original Lop and have been around for century's.

How many Rabbits can claim to be all ears! They are known for ears measuring up to and sometimes over 28" from the tip of one ear to the ip of the other. They are a large breed weighing in at around 11lbs in weight. They have a roman head which is broad with large eyes. They should have a body shape that resembles that of a Mandolin.

They are a very placid breed that just thrives attention. They are not a very active breed and because of this they can become overweight. They are loving and docile and are great pets. Always demanding your time.

Because of their ears they require a little more time and extra care than most breeds. They can develop a build up of wax in the ear canal and this must be checked regular and cleaned if needed. They also need to have their nails trimmed regular as damage can be caused to the ears if left unattended. Although all this is said a little extra cash is a small price pay for the wonderful breed these Rabbits are.
