Waterproof Flashing Collars?

Hi,

Now the nights are closing in again I'm looking to get Eddie a flashing or visible collar. It will need to be waterproof.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Have seen some called Leuctie which are an LED collar, but they are £30+

Thanks.

I have just got one of these : Nite Dawg L.E.D. Collar by Nite Ize - K9Active.co.uk which I'm very pleased with so far.

Re: Waterproof Flashing Collars?

We use the reflective arm/leg bands with the flashing bulbs meant for joggers and cyclists for our dogs. Pop it on with their normal collar (they have velcro fastening), batteries last forever and I just picked a spare packet of four up from Lidl for a fiver...

Depends how large your dog is tho, our big one only has a 15 inch neck, anything bigger and they might be a bit small...

I got mine from an online pet supermarket, and paid something like £7 each.

Re: Waterproof Flashing Collars?

I have a simple reflective collar for Rocky from Pets at Home. But saw the Leuchties before as well and they seem really good. Too expensive for me though. I don't like the flashing type of collars though as I read they can lead to epilepsy in dogs. Not sure if this is really true, but didnt wanna risk it.

Re: Waterproof Flashing Collars?

Hi,

I know this post is old but someone new may read this thread. I just bought one for £4.99 and it's good quality and very bright orange!
