London Dog Social Events?
Hello,
my Name is Maya the Dog and I will be relocating from the US to London with the beginning of May. I am a very social and playful dog and I am wondering if there are any places or meetings where I could convince my parents to take me so that I can play with other like-minded pooches. Please do let us know - any advice is very much appreciated! |

Re: London Dog Social Events?
Hi Maya,
Have you thought of taking part in a charity dog walk? What a nice way to spend a few hours on the weekend with your parents, meeting new friends as well ![]() You can register to take part here: Best Paw Forward - in Peckham Rye Park - Events - Cancer Research UK On the same day the Friends of Peckham Rye Park will be holding a Summer Fete including a dog show, so stick around after the walk to enjoy the day. Join us on the 3rd of September 2011 in Peckham Rye Park, South East London for a sponsored dog walk and show your support for Cancer Research UK. If you can’t make it but would like to help us in any other way, such as promoting the walk, volunteering, or getting involved and supporting Cancer Research UK, we’d love to hear from you. Thanks to people like you our groundbreaking work really has saved thousands of lives. Survival rates have doubled in the last forty years and we’ve been at the heart of that progress. Your support is vital. We have made significant progress in understanding and treating cancer, yet one in three of us will still get cancer at some point in our lives so there’s much more we need to do. Our vital work, funded entirely by the public, will mean that many more people will survive. It would be great to see you and your dog in Peckham and we hope you can join us there. Contact felicity.jones@cancer.org.uk for more details otherwise we look forward to seeing you there. |
