Yes exactly. I think they're great for a puppy, they're cheap and it doesn't matter if they get ruined... I find they don't very easily though. If you have a dog that isn't a strong chewer, then I'd suggest one of these until they grow out of the destructful stage. Foxy chews her bed but she isn't able to break any thing off it.
