Hello Chance, There was a website link posted on here a few days ago with some training tips about biteing you may wish to share with your new owners so they get some idea of what you are going through---
The Bite Stops Here

Re: Hi - I'm Chance, and I'm a bit naughty

Thanks Wooliewoo - thats an interesting read.

I'm also playing up when out in the garden. I just love to eat the grass down to the soil then chew round. When my owner shouts STOP or LEAVE I just carry on. When he walks towards me I initially run away and this starts a great 'Chase' game that I love. What should they do when I do this?

Re: Hi - I'm Chance, and I'm a bit naughty

Evening everyone. Well, today has been fun.

My owner is a bit silly. This afternoon he has been throwing my favourite ball for me. Trouble is every time I bring it back he throws it away again. But, he looked to be having fun so I carried on fetching it and even got some chocolate drops for my reward.

However, I've been digging and I'm not in the good books. I can now almost fit my head under the decking (something smells VERY good under there) and each time he tells me to stop I just carry on. Is there a way to stop me digging?

get your owner to talk to the vet. they normally have a puppy party going on where young pups like yourself can go and socialize. i am a 11 week old rottweiler and my mummy took me. its great fun! she placed my poo in the holes i started digging and covered them up. it stops you going there again, and now i dont dig incase i dig up poo. yuk! she also gets up at 5 am and takes me out to the garden. i dont have to try and hold it in for so long now. so you really need to cry and yelp and get thoses sleepy heads up and out of bed. if they dont they only have themselves to blame! but dont tell them i said that! what so you think they would say if they knew we were on there funny table with buttons?

Re: Hi - I'm Chance, and I'm a bit naughty

Thanks everyone - I think my owner light like the 'poo idea' you have!

I'm getting slightly better - I now sit and wait whilst my owner walks away from me then calls me and as I approach him, I sit again! I love this game as I get loads of hugs and attention when I do it well.

I'm still biting and getting a bit over excited but now they shout LEAVE and SIT which I do some of the time. Still, Rome wasn't built in a day was it?
