I have trained 4 dogs in the past with no problem. Now I have a puppy and I can't seem to potty train her. She is 5 months and has been with us for 2 months. She pees all the time- I let her out and she will pee in the yard then come in and 10 minutes later will pee again. There does not appear to be any blood in her urine and she CAN hold it over night in a crate. She pees in the house at least 6 - 20 times a day- sometimes not much pee at all when she does pee. I don't think she gets it. She goes outside at least every 2 hours with 1 gap of 3 hours in the afternoon.
I think she maybe part Jack Russell, I thought she was going to be a collie but she has not grown. I honestly don't know what to do. HELP! |

Re: HELP Pee Pee Problem
Have you ever had her urine dipped? A fresh sample to the vets and it takes a couple of minutes - might be a good idea especially where 'much doesn't come out'.
Also try showing her that going outside is much nicer than going inside. Catch her doing the right thing - three or four HIGH value rewards once she has finished outside (verbal praise as she goes). No rewards for peeing indoors. And NO telling off for accidents indoors either - just teaches her not toilet infront of you ![]()
