Re: puppy destroys all her toys.

Pups will chew especialy if teething , try giving raw hole carrot from the fridge nice and cold on the gums and tasty once they realise its food , and ensure all toys are of a good quality as trying to remove bits of half eaten plastic can be a nightmare for the fingers lol

Re: puppy destroys all her toys.

I bought the Kong puppy range of toys and now I buy the large Kong toys for him. The fluffy toys were destroyed in minutes so were the soft plastic squeakies.

Duke has all his puppy Kong toys a rope pull plus a squeaky toy from being a puppy.

I also used to wet a flannel put it in the freezer and let him chew it. I had a few flannels on the go for him.

I never bought fluffy toys that resembled animals or humans, I'm not sure if puppies or dogs relate to a toy as being a practice run for the real thing, but I didn't and don't take any chances.

Re: puppy destroys all her toys.

When my Airedale was a pup she would destroy everything, including things which were not meant for her, shoes, handbags, mobile phones - what a Diva!

She even knawed through a kong toy and supposed "indestructable" toys, but by one yrs she had grown out of it thank goodness!

Re: puppy destroys all her toys.

Daxies are prone to demolishing toys.
fur toys are pulled apart here within the hour, squeeky toys do not last five mins.I find the best ones are Kongs and the rope toys mine have had these for years and they are still going.
