Lightbulb pos-R rehab of dogs with bite-histories: Hunkie

part I - k91dogtraining
Hunky was adopted-out by + returned to Putnam Hum-Soc;
he was growling at the residents of his new home (no timeline
was given, i do not know if they had the dog for a week, month
or year - whatever it was...); when he returned to the shelter, he
BIT 2 shelter-staffers, and the BoD voted overwhelmingly to euth.

Margie, a long-term shelter-vol. thought this old-dog deserved a
chance - and fought them in the shelter, + in court. the ruling says,
if he FAILS to be rehabbed successfully, he WILL * BE euthed...*
so they AND the dog have to get this right.

IMO and in my observation -
Hunky needs to lose WEIGHT + gain FITNESS, and he has 2 bad knees;
he camel-walks (paces - legs on same-side travel togther, fwd + back),
vs more-normal alternating stride - the trot, with diagonal legs moving
together as one. (rt-fore/left-rear, rt-rear/left-fore).
