Re: Off the lead.......

oh another thought - are there any parks near you? I let mine off in enclosed tennis courts at our local park - me and my hubby stand at each entrance door so they can't get out and they bounce about round there for ages - it's great especially in winter as the courts aren't used Enclosed basket ball courts are really good for this as well - just scoop any poop after and they never know you've been

Hi

Thanks for your messages, I dont know of any ball courts around us, but will definately have a look for one.

I havent let her off anywhere near a road, its very rural where we live. Today she went off playing happily with another dog, i recalled, she came (so did the other dog!) then the other dogs owner called her, and off Tala went too. It would have been ok if she'd stopped bl**dy walking while she did this, but she was wandering away from us!! not particlarly helpful. Then we went into the next area, which is 'dogs on leads' and we had Tala on a lead.... nobody else did, we passed about a 6 dogs, none on leads... and all interested in Tala, who was getting frustrated that she was attached to me, and the other dogs were free

Hey ho, I better look for alternative 'walkies' spots!!

Re: Off the lead.......

winters not too bad it's when you get to spring and summer and they start seeing bunnies about then whoosh off they go 1 - 0 to huskies lol my boys have a such a high prey drive, like most huskies i suppose luckily all they've managed to get so far is a frog and that wasn't pleasant
