Re: Letting puppy of the lead
We dont have anywhere where we can let him off safely to start off with, there is a big park but it has a busy main road on side of it where he could quite easily run into. arghhhh its so worrying incase he runs off and we cant find him!

Re: Letting puppy of the lead
Im not brave enuf to let Heidi off lead yet. She is still barely a mouthful to a big dog
I want her to get to 4Ibs (and be microchipped) before she gets free reign. Hopefully she will get to at least 4Ibs!![]() For now she walks on a flexi lead, gets called back often for praise and treats though. |

Re: Letting puppy of the lead
dear nat1979
can you have my dog for a week and train him too lol i made the mistake of not letting him off when he was younger he is now 7 months and a small nightmare off the lead he will come when he feels like it but also surprises you a couple of times and comes back. i think its me too i lose my confidence when he is off lead and think that reflects in my voice and i think thats one of the reasons he doesnt come all the time he is called |
