Re: Doing a number 2 in her bed! Help!

Hi

My goldie started to do number 2's in the night recently too. He wont go on a walk and wasn't keen on going when anyone was outside with him for some reason.

He seemed to be really irregular in terms of when he went and how often, so his feeding times were altered a bit and he now goes out first thing in the morning for a brisk 10 min walk and the same an hour or so after his tea at night, purely to get him to do his poops. We did this on Tues and Wed this week, and this morning I let him out and he went like clockwork and did a poop in the yard before I even took him for a walk, his body has got the idea of when he is meant to go.

I think his body clock was a bit skewiff, and so that was what I tried to alter and so far so good. Everytime she does a poop outside, act like an idiot and be really excited and pleased and give lots of fuss for it, I know its basic but it might help.

I don't know why she is going in her bed, but maybe if you have a go at changing her body clock a little bit it could eliminate the need to go in the nightime?

Hope things sort themselves out for you soon

U would really have to take her out as often as possible in the hope she will do a poo and reward, reward, reward .....

im sure u get it sorted
Yes I use the same bedding and washing it with bio washing powder. Thank you for the advise I will keep at it.

Maybe she is insulted by my washing powder :-)
