Since she was 8 weeks old! I know two people that have got her sisters and both of them do the same thing. Even their Dad still does it!

First of all Shih Tzus are very slow at house training dont know why guess they are just stubborn and lazy. I have 3 and all mine where over 12 months before they were clean. Secondly one of mine used to eat her poo and the vet told me put a chunk of pineapple in her food or a little ketchup, may i just say i tried these ideas and to no avail. She doesnt do it that much now, thank god. So youjust need to persavere i guess i did and alls fine now. Oh and 2 of her pups do it to

My other shih tzu is 2 years old and I have just got her house trained. Guess its a shih tzu thing as I have had no problems with other breeds of dogs.

hi have you just the one dog as when i had 2 one of mine ate the other dogs poo so the vet gave me a tablet to give to the other dog and when the second one went to eat it she didnt cos of what the tablet had done to the other ones poo if you get what i mean,!!!!!!!!!!!

O right!Thats my theory gone!
It might be worth giving your vet a ring to check it with them??

I have a 7 month old Lhasa and shes pretty much housetrained but where the weather has been nice and the back door open I have missed her going once or twice only realised from the pungent breath! shes just thrown up in the car cos we stopped half way so she could have a walk and she decided rabbit poo was a tasty option! they are really disgusting creatures sometimes! it really is a case of watching them like a hawk and clearing it up immediately, she will run straight over for a treat when shes been but if I miss it.....well its gone!

To top it off she is a licker!
My vet told me its a behavour problem. She said you can buy food to stop it but didn't say it would 100% work!
I have two shih tzu. She only likes her own poo and horse poo!
