Teenager problem

Hello

As I said in my intro we have 5 dogs, 4 girls and 1 boy. The girls are all great no problems with any of them. They range in age from 10 to 3. Our boy [our pup] is aged 16 months. He is great too - the only problem we have with him is in the car. He has become over protective and if anyone passes the car and he is in it, he barks in a very aggressive manner at them. We have never had this before in all the years we have had dogs so any advice would be helpful.

I don't have this problem (fingers crossed it dosn't start!) but I have seen on telly it can help if you put black paper up on the windows and remove it in sheet by sheet as the dog behaves more

Is it legal to black out the car windows like that? I can understand the idea behind it. Maybe its just the front/front side windows you are not allowed to black off. I would need to check that out. Thanks

Unless they allow in 75% of light through the windowscreen they are not legal, on the drivers side windows they must allow 70% of light.

If they are found to be illegal you will possibly get a fixed penalty notice and possibly 3 points on your licence, obviously it would be at the charging officers discrestion on how they chose to deal with it if you were caught and your windows deemed illegal.
