you could try getting a DAP plug in its a vapouiser thingy that gives of smells (people can't smell it easily - you have to put your nose right over it) I found that helped my pup settle. We also use it now when there are fireworks and when the foxes are noisy at night
You can get it from vets and pet shops Sorry just noticed it was in the very long post above!
