Re: Soiling in the House!

After my experiences with my first dog with seperation anxiety i vowed never to make the same mistakes. The first time round it was more a case of learning ways to live with the issues. when we went out we had a purpose built run that resolved everything the same for when we had visitors as he was aggressive towards people life became liveable again he got used to the routine and never had the anxiety about being told off when we returned. We also changed a few rules around the house as well to instill who wwas really top dogs in our household. I never leave the dogs i have now in the house when we're out i don't even know what they'd do if we did i think the run is fairer on the dogs as they have the freedom to go out for the toilet when they want play outside when they while being able to go to sleep somewhere dry and comfy. they sleep in a garden room attached to our house at night. Its actually more of a utility/storage room thats heated for the winter. We used to have some toilet accidents at night but having a cage for each dog to sleep in at night was the solution to that one I've used a cage for and run for all my dogs and friends have followed suit. The dogs like te routine and we like the harmony in our home.

[QUOTE=xxSaffronxx;113005]Hi all

It got to the point where we were seriously considering sending him to my parents to live.

It makes me feel like I hate him. And it puts me in an awful mood when he has been bad (which at the moment is eveytime we go into his room).

You are a terrible pet owner !
You leave this poor animal alone all day and expect him to behave at his best.
You sure do hate him and he would be much better off with people who don't. maybe your parents are better with supplying love? Then again, they have raised you.
You shouldn't be allowed to have a dog--period !

You joined especially to reply to a thread that is well over 3 years old?
