OH's friend brought his jrt to stay lastnight. The dogs haven't really spent alot of time together inside, we are usually out walking, or in the friends garden.

Smudge the jrt was not socialised well. He gets nervous around bigger dogs unless it is him making the moves. He has got loads better recently as we keep walking them together.
He hates other dogs going near when he is on his 'dad's knee and growls and growls.

Now Dave's problem is that he thinks every single dog is there to play, he never really meets dogs who don;t play with him.

So Dave kept inviting Smudge to play, Smudge kept hiding behind Michael. Dave isn't too smart. He just keot going round the other side.
he eventually gave up, Smudge was sat on Michaels knee and Dave wanted attention. Smudge just growled a few soft growls, but Dave was not bothered. He just jumped up onto the couch and put his head on Michaels knee. Smudge gave up growling and sat and looked at the fish tank. Lol

Then Dixie came along and went by Michael and Smudge didn't make a peep

Smudge sat in the bed with Dixie when we came back from the pub, and he sat next to Dave in the car too. We are all pleased at the progress this weekedn.
