DOGHEAD is on a distinguished road
Arrow Recognizing, preventing, and handling dog aggression

A dog is an instinctively aggressive creature. In the wild, aggression came in very handy: dogs needed aggression to hunt, to defend themselves from other creatures, and to defend resources such as food, a place to sleep, and a mate. Selective breeding over the centuries has minimized and refined this trait significantly, but there’s just no getting around it: dogs are physically capable of inflicting serious harm (just look at those teeth!) because that’s how they’ve survived and evolved.

Re: Recognizing, preventing, and handling dog aggression

yes of course they're predators, but as pack animals they have also evolved to communicate and co-operate with each other and with their human pack. They will use aggression when they feel it necessary, but this doesn't mean they are instictively aggressive any more than a lot of other species, which will also attack in self-defence. To survive in the wild, they need to be part of a group and the are at least as instictively co-operative as aggressive. Sure their teeth can do a lot of damage, but these evolved to eat with, any damage they can do is coincidental.

Re: Recognizing, preventing, and handling dog aggression

Our domestic dogs have come a long long way since their ancestors... our domestic dogs, provided they have been responsibly bred with temperament as a priority and proper socialisation is given will live happily.

I'm not sure what the point of your post is as it doesn't seem to be a question or query! or are you just advertising your website and services?
