Re: Need help...Re Beagle puppy

Just a quick note as I am at work - have you tried puppy training pads? Also speak to your Vet as he may have a urine infection? Beagles can be quite tricky to potty train-but it is unusual for a puppy or dog to just sleep in their poop-you may have a crate that is too big. Also don't clean the mess up in front of him as this may look submissive to your dog. Feed and water your dog then take him outside after about 10 mins and if he doesn't go-put him in his crate-you will need to supervise him quite closely at this age. I know it maybe frustrating but you need to expect some house training issues especially at such a young age-try and chill a little bit and stay with the training program. You can't expect every dog to be trained as quickly as each other.

Re: Need help...Re Beagle puppy

are the stools well formed or soft and runny? If they are runny it could be an infection in his digestive tract or an intolerance to the food. Burns food, or James Welbeloved are good and hypoallergenic - Skinners duck and rice hypoallergenic in the field and trial range is very good too, and cheaper. But doing pees and poos and sleeping in it is unusual - was he from a puppy farm or bred in a home environment?
