Weird behavior of my English Bulldog

I will try to explain the situation... For the last couple of months, every night usually after her dinner, my bull starts the licking move without licking anything...like a snake does. It can happen for 30 min or so. It looks like she can't stop herself from doing that unless she is lies down. She eats the same brand food since she was born. She is 3 years old. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there any way the behavior can be stopped? Please help! Thanks

Re: Weird behavior of my English Bulldog

Bulldogs do often lick and sometimes constantly. I would first check that your Bulldog doesn't have a ulcer or broken tooth so check with your Vet first. However, this is considered normal behavior for a bulldog. Other brachycephalic breeds do it too. Speak to your vet get a good inspection and take it from there.
