Dog/puppy Bed's

Can anyone tell me are their any beds that are un distructable, anti chew, I have spent a fortune on bed's for Max and Molly. All the best ones from Pets at home, from white vetbeding to line their cages, delux beds, orthopaedic mattress's, fur beds. you name it they have had it. suede leather, wainwrights bedding. and blankets. and cheap bed's from market. They do not chew anything eles, only their beds, and they are not left allown for long, and only go in their cages at bed time. They have chewed some wires and slippers, odd gloves and some garden items, but not that much damage at all, other pets of mine have done much more damage, so we have been very lucky. Just their beds, and gone through loads and loads of toys. But the black kong treat toys have lasted two weeks so far.
ps Chewed our son's passport 3 days before he travelled, his bag was in the garage, their were mince pies, sausage rolls, and a left over Xmas cake, did not touch those but ate the passport and cover, it was in bits lol

Re: Dog/puppy Bed's

We have the same problem here. My hubby proudly bought the dogs incredibly expensive (I think about £85 each ) beds only for them to kill one of them on the very first night They were supposed to be chew proof etc - well, obviously my dogs didn't read the label!!!

I think no bed is indestructable. have you given the dog a toy with an emotiona; attachment, one that you play with him then it gets put away after so it's special when he gets it? you could try that then he'd rather eat the toy rather than the bed!

Re: Dog/puppy Bed's

Have you tried the very hard plastic one? I have one for my dogs for a number of years and yes it has got chew marks on it but it's still usable. Maybe they don't make them to last any more so the likes of us will buy another one.

Re: Dog/puppy Bed's

sorry but theres no indistructable beds even if they say they are its rubbish. i use cheap vet bedding and a cage for pups as they will chew anything. they dont care if cost pennies to hundreds of pounds.

Re: Dog/puppy Bed's

My dog has done the same, every bed he has destroyed. He even took over one of the cats beds and ruined that...it had to be the one that my DH had had since he got his cat , before we even met...ooops!!!

I want a bed for him from Pets at home, brown leather and furry inside, its £35 but im sure he will destroy it.

I see a gap in the market here....lol!
