Odd marking/toileting behaviour from Chaos

In the last couple of weeks Chaos has been showing me a new way to ask to go outside to have a wee. If I'm at the computer desk (which is alot of the time) he will come up behind me and lick my ear. The first time he did it, I just turned around and stroked him as I thought he was asking for attention but he then kept doing it and started whining so I said 'what ya want' and he ran to the backdoor. I let him out to have a wee and straight back in again.

The problem is he now does this an awful lot. Every 15 mins or so he will lick my ear then run to the backdoor. He will wee in the same spot everytime and come back in. I'm guessing hes marking his area of the garden? Well earlier I had enough and ignored him. (I had just let him out only 5 mins before) he carried on licking my ear for about a minute and then cocked his leg and weed on me. Not really sure whats going on or how to stop this behaviour. I don't want to be letting him outside every few minutes BUT I don't want to be peed on again either.

Doogie wants attention.

There are doggie find the treat games (with wooden sliding doors I have seen) or a nice raw bone.....

....or put the dog under the table and stroke with a foot.

It could be a UTI. Might be worth a vet check.

Hi thanks for comments. He has a mild Urinary Tract Infection and has been given some antibiotics so hopefully this will clear up soon and he will be back to his usual self.

Oh, that's good! Hope he is better soon - and at least you know it isn't behavioural!
