Re: Destructive when left

Aw thats lovely, so snug and cosy!! My house is fairly open plan, hallway goes straight into the galley style kitchen and i dont have many cupboards. The crate was tucked into the corner of the hallway by the door so if needs be it will have to go back there. I can live without that little bit of space if it helps things.
I really like that photo, its great!

That might be good for ours as our understairs cupboard is in the living room which gets hot in winter with having a coal fire. Though I've already had the raised eywbrows ewwww thing from someone for saying she likes raw food.

Me too; plus the 'he will turn' - they probably think I have to keep him in a cupboard to stop him snacking on my limbs .

Seriously though; it's a great space saver and is left open all the time apart from when a visitor that doesn't like dogs or workman comes, then the gate can just be shut and everyone's happy .

Re: Destructive when left

Last night i went out and bought a kong, the biscuit things and the stuffing and stuffed it full this morning. When i got home i found her greeting me with it in her mouth, she had managed to get about half out and had done no damage at all in the house.
Such a relief!

Re: Destructive when left

Would just add the good thing with Kongs is you can stuff them with allsorts of goodies as well even thing you have at home too like a little peanut butter or the cheese spread in tubes or layer them and or add bits o left over chicken or ham. If you refer to my original post about the kongs the link is on there to the Kong website and the section how to Kong gives ideas and ways to do them to make them last.

Varying and mixing up the contents should keep it interesting thats whats so good about them.

Yeh that paste stuff ain't good in large doses. I only used to give Fred a bit in one as it was full of rubbish really and made him a bit loony.

Same goes for biscuits; you can put any shape/size in and it'll still do the trick for a lot cheaper!!
