I was going to say I thought the whole idea of the conditioned reinforcer was that it gave you some leeway when it comes to delivering the reward. Unless you mean people give the reward and then click?

I learned clicker training purely from books and videos online as none of the trainers I could get to would accept me and Rupe in their classes. It can be picked up that way but I would think actually seeing a trainer in real life would be easier! I have seen one now and was doing it right but I spent a hell of a lot of time reading and watching vids before starting.
