Marking (peeing!!) his territory
Hi all
This is my first visit and posting to this forum and I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a seven year old papillion (male) who up to a few months ago was absolutely fine. Now we wake up in the morning to wet patches against our kitchen units and shelves and they are starting to get discoloured We took him to the vets because we thought there might be something wrong but he said that he is more than likely marking his territory. We don't have a problem during the day or evening, he would never dream of peeing in the house it only happens at night when we are in bed. We have reduced his access to water at night but that has made any difference. We have tried to think of anything that might have set him off or upset him but we can't come up with anything If anybody jhas had this problem with their dog and sucessfully cured them I would love to hear from them |
