Well i have started walking him on our normal rope lead now, as i agree that my using he flexi lead would confuse him, especially as we are still getting him to understand heel.

That should be better for my back and for his confusion. Its not long until we get to the track where i walk him anyway so can let him off then.

Appreciate your comments, i think once he understands that he isn't allowed to pull and maybe when he is a bit older and calmer if we are in a place that i don't want to let him off but would be nice to let him roam i may re introduce it at some point, will have to see.
