Re: digging!

There was nothing on the other side at the time, and tbh she hasn't bothered with it since. Maybe there was a stone or something she wanted to chew on? Ha ha she probably chose that spot because as I said, my garden has been concreted so not really many other places to dig? I think I may buy her a sand pit to dig in, I know people have said it can get a little obsessive, but it also seems to be quite a natural thing for them to want to do? So instead of stopping the behaviour altogether it may be better to provide her with appropriate places to do it?
JessiesGirl and moonviolet like this.

I think it is wise, dogs like to dig - not every hole will be two feet deep - often IME it's just an outdoor bed. In one of our dog spots outdoors I've refilled a couple of holes that were out of favour with a mixture of soil and sawdust and they seemed to like the change, they dug some fresh beds.
