SMILEY MILO is on a distinguished road
So proud of Milo!!

Hi, took Milo to the beach this morning for his walk, I must admit I was expecting the screeching bark when he saw other dogs but, when I let him off the lead he went up to greet the other dogs and to my surprise he was great, no barking and played with them properly. I know its going to take time to sort out his problem but this is another bridge crossed and another step in the right direction.

I'm so proud of him.

Thank you for the comments, His lead work is still on going and he is still a little head strong, but he is very obedient and intelligent so I hope it won't be long before he cracks it. When we adopted Milo 6 weeks ago his socialising skills were nil, now he is looking forward to going down to the beach and playing with all his new friends.

WELL DONE MILO

Hi, I am going to take some pictures of Milo playing with his mates, hopefuly tomorrow depending on the weather. We live near Heysham Harbour overlooking Morecambe bay and the last few days we have had gale force winds and driving rain, this morning we were lucky and it was just windy.
The weather tomorrow I think is sunshine and showers anyway I'm taking my camera with me so wet or not I'll take some pictures.

Here is is watching his favourite program the dog whisperer.

Re: So proud of Milo!!

Hi, dog whisperer, dogs 101, just to name a few, as soon as they are on, he instinctively knows and sits in front of the TV. I think in his own way, he's taking it all in and really wants to improve his problem with socialising. This morning we had a mixed approach on the field. After the usual greeting, Milo played well with other dogs, its his greeting that is the problem. What I want is, for him to be able to greet other dogs without the aggression and the excited screeching bark when he's on the lead.
We have come along way in the short time we have had him and with corrective work, I know we can change him for the better.
