Question Behaviour

How do I stop my Miniature Schnauzer puppy, which is 9 months old, screaming when he meets other dogs.

What do you mean by "screaming" and where and when are you meeting these dogs?

did he have any socialisation with dogs when he was a very young puppy??

I would just try and socialise him more often - it may take some time but I am sure he will get there. Sounds as though he is just over excited to see other dogs and may not have been socialised enough at an earlier age.

focus on you instead of other dogs. sit/stay, look watch, come etc. etc.

then reward the focus with running up to the other dog/playing (if that's what you want).
