Question UTIs & maybe allergies?

aww, poor fella.

ask the vet if cranberry extract might help prevent the UTIs?

skin-issues can be food-allergies; does he have chocolate-colored or liver-colored goop from his eyes?
it comes down from the inner corner of the eye, & can be picked up with a tissue or cotton-ball as a 'string'.
it's a stretchy mucus; that's a sign of a food allergy, as are chronic ear-problems & pink toes [between toes],
where the dog licks repeatedly, 30-mins to an hour after a meal: their feet get itchy & warm, & they lick madly.

CORN [maize], SOY, & WHEAT can all be common dog-allergens. [soy protein, maize gluten, corn-'syrup',
etc - any form, in anything: treats, kibble, starch in 'gravy' for canned dog-food, & so on.]

Aiden is on a distinguished road
Re: is this normal?

You are getting worried because your previous dog was not doing like that. You should not worry about this more. Its normal if you have a pet then you have to make your self ready for the behavior, food and health problem of your pet.Any how you may find the solutions over web and you may get the right procedure for your dog.

He's not been the luckiest when it comes to health problems He also has a pad on both his front paws that hasn't grown down, which causes him to twist his ankle a lot.
Ive booked an appointment for the 8th of September, unfortunately i couldn't get one with the vet he likes before then.
I shall defiantly ask about cranberry extract when i go.
Regarding allergies, we are not 100% sure. Not long after we got him he started loosing the fur on his tail, after skin scrapping etc we decided it was his food. We changed to vitalin adult maintenance and it grew back. 6 months ago he developed a brown-ish colored bald patch on his ear and head so we changed him to fish4dogs, but it hasn't improved anything. The vets don't know whats causing it so have left it as it is. I'm sure his skin bothers him as he scratches a lot more than the average dog. His eyes, ears and toes seem fine to me. I think we are at a bit of a loss with it
