Hi - New to the site and need some advice
I have a 3 yr old male Jack Russell who has been nuetered. We have had him since 8 weeks old. He is very obedient with me, but does not respect the rest of the family. He can be fine with them one minute, playing, relaxed, happy and then if they get up to leave the room he chases their feet and bites their shoes. Why does he do this? When i'm out his mood changes even more. He barks, growls and guards (can be anything) he usually sits in his bed, which is in a separate little room, so they can just shut the door on him if necessary. When we have visitors he goes mad. He's better with women than men. Everyone says he's a different dog when i'm there.
Any advice welcome.

I would suggest that you get some other members of your household to do stuff with him like, walks, feeding and training.
