Talking a thread for all those who think Agility, Freestyle, H-T-M or whatever...

are just awful, & are of the firm opinion that the owners, trainers, audience & participants,
manufacturers of flyball-boxes, dog-walks, tire-jumps & any other accouterments including treat-pouches
should be arrested for animal cruelty at the very least, if not flogged in the public stocks.

have a great time!... kvetch on, baby.

The prisons are already overcrowded. I think a hefty fine and a suspended sentence will suffice. ( smiley omitted... let the reader decide )

I think the term is "trolling" not my term but a term used by certain peeps that one just has to adopt.

Yes, I agree with you and it does not make for a healthy discussion. May be laughing it off is best?

Treat pouches seem to be cruely to Labs, they're always wandering up to me and sniffing, looking very hopeful.

I've just discovered my treat pouch, that I can open with one hand, and I think it's brilliant. Honey only notices it if I say the magic word "biscuit". It's great as there are no more biscuit crumbs in my pockets!

As for Agility etc, its not me that thinks its awful, but Honey. SHE thinks its a complete waste of time and refuses point blank to have anything to do with it!

Are you being serious? She who has a private campaign to see all aversive methods and tools banned worldwide objects to others who find a dog activity degrading, demeaning and also a touch cruel.........

....and advicates bad things happen to those perps too....

Do you want to have your dog bark and eat your cake too? Since you dish out enough, how's about a little opinion against yours with the decency to respect their views?

regards,

Austin

Yes, that's why some of us still use headcollars......

Oh, you meant that not to be ironic?

I meant that to be sarcastic.

Youtube or Google it.
