We finally met a dog to tumble with!!

I went on another route today (im new to my area so still finding places lol) on our morning walk and i see a man walking an off lead staffy, so we walked towards the man and the staffy came running over to greet Jake. I asked the man if he minded if Jake went off lead with the dog and he said yes thats fine.
Jake and the staffy roughed and tumbled and run to his hearts content
Granted i had a very muddy pup at the end of the play but i was so pleased to see him playing. Nothing a bath didnt help

The man said he walks this field everyday at about 9 so i said great see you tomorrow

So so so soooooooooooo happy to have found my little boy someone he can rough n tumble and socialize with.

He was even good with recall whilst playing.

Yay! Good staffie owner we salute you!

My little one got attacked by an off-lead staffie last week whilst she was on the lead herself!! Couldn't believe it when the owner refused to put their dog on the lead and said my dog was attacked because it was her problem for being one fo those tiny 'yappy' dogs...

I know that feeling well. I had to be so careful with Ferdie because of his size, that it was pure joy when he met a dog he could actually play with without worrying about him hurting it by mistake. There was another newfie, a Bernese and an Irish wolfhound.

I hope they stay friends.

Wow, thats almost exactly what happened to me last week. (except I was the one doing the shouting and screaming!!LOL).

Well done on finding Jake a playmate though! I love it when we find another tiny dog that wants to run and chase with my lot..
