Training Lead

Can anyone recommend a good sturdy double - ended training lead? I currently have a good one, but it is narrow and has rather small trigger hooks as it is designed for small - medium dogs. I bought it with a puppy in mind and it has served me well, but at just over 4 months old Kilo is knocking on for 25kg and I would like something sturdier. I am not worried about aesthetics, just durability!

Thank you

Re: Training Lead

Pets at home do some really good sturdy ones. I don't have one i'm lucky enough to have never needed it but 2 of my aunts use them they're pretty wide and the clips are a good size and pretty tough considering how hard all those dogs can pull (one of my aunt has 2 rescues both have issues with certain breeds and as one of them is a mastiff and the other is a GSD/Staffie they are both very strong!) My other aunt has a bitch lab thats only 9 months but pulls like the devil but she's not used to being on a lead as they live in the middle of nowhere.

Pics?? =]

Thank you! I put up pics the other day....feel like I flood this place with them which I am fairly conscious of; we all think our dogs are lovely, don't we? (Although I LOVE everyone else's pics) Anyway, I haven't had my Tummel fix for a while either

Re: Training Lead

Think SASS who make the sled dog equipment do double ended training leads with heavy duty brass clips. dogtraininginfo.co.uk - low fat natural dog training treats and food supplements, dog training equipment, harnesses, collars and leads. if you want a look.

Halti also do a double end training lead too.

Collars and tracking/walking harnesses are good too, they make them to measure, so if your dog is inbetween sizes you can get an exact fit, they will fleece line too if you want. All the harnesses and buckle collars are all brass heavy duty fitments too.

Re: Training Lead

I bought mine on ebay, from a seller called Teigan something, they sell husky products.

The double ended leads, have built in handles etc, and are only about £6 I think
