DAP Collars...
Anyone used one?
I have heard good things about the DAP diffusers but Daisy's problem is with dogs outside so I'm thinking I might try a DAP collar. Been to pets at home today and they are £35 ![]() Which I'm more than happy to pay if it works but if it doesn't I'll be a bit annoyed. We have spent an absolute fortune on various training/behaviour aids since we got her and reluctant to waste more money! Any comments or good/bad points appreciated! Thanks ![]()

Re: DAP Collars...
I tried a DAP collar on my lad several years back. I don't think it made much difference TBH but it was very hard to tell.
Always worth a try though as every dog is different? OP- perhaps worth ordering online as I think they are a fair bit cheaper online? HERE for example the med-large one is just over £20? If you shopped around you may find one cheaper (+postage?). Better than paying £35 odd, especially if you don't yet know if it'll help?

Re: DAP Collars...
Ive used them for fear and anxiety and still use them for times of stress and fireworks
Collar Small up to 37.5cm £16.99 Large up to 62.5cm £17.29 though might have gone up slightly because of VAT increase. I get mine from vet medic Vet-Medic - the same medicines as your vet at consistently low prices. 0800 387348 Post free unless you want 1st class which you just pay the extra for.

Re: DAP Collars...
I used both the collar and the spray, I found the collar worked really well, but didn't notice much with the spray.
I did put collar back on in October for fireworks and, again, it helped a lot, together with ttouch, he went trough the bangs fairly calm. Don't buy from P&H, they are much cheaper online. It also takes a while to see the effect, it says a full month but I noticed improvement with Ray much earlier then that; it is true though that for some dogs they don't make a difference. It is a case of trying as if they do help they really do.

Re: DAP Collars...
Hi, I have used the DAP collar on Louie (approx 10 month old Irish Staffie) to help him through the New Years Eve fireworks and it definitely works!, he was a much calmer dog and the fireworks didn't phase him at all!, I have recently removed the DAP collar as it has probably worn out by now and he is definitely more hyper now!, don't buy your collar from P@H or any other pet store, get them online, I used Vet-Medic and will use them again, no problems, fast delivery and less than £18.00p. wayne.
