remove HER favourite chair???

ok so training lexie to not be on the sofa is not going well, the indoor lead is now completely laced with mustard and still she gives it a chew, down means practically nothing to her and patience is at an all time low! there is a chair in the living room that we were goin to leave as "her chair" because she loves sitting on it when the sun shines in and she can look out the window but i am thinking this is probably not helping and was going to remove that chair from the room so that the only places to sit are the sofa or her bed and hope that the "off the sofa" training will improve and then her bed is the only option. does that sound like it will work???? and maybe if it does we can bring chair back in in a couple of months? also she doesnt seem to mind being in her bed when myself and OH are at seperate ends of the sofa but once we get cosy we have company!!! its like she is jealous and thinks she has to be part of it!!! (shes being a general terror at the mo, hope its teenage phase (10mths))

Re: remove HER favourite chair???

Sounds as though you are having an interesting time! Personally I would allow her the chair, but be consistent in saying "no" to sofa ... but that's just me
