Re: Am i being a thicko or what???
They probably put that in there to make you buy more of their products ;-)
You can put anything in your like, I put peanut butter in and then shove it in the freezer over night if I'm going out for a few hours the next day, otherwise I just give it to him room temperature

Re: Am i being a thicko or what???
i just stuff it with whatever she likes and pop it in a box in the freezer til needed (i have 3 on the go!) at the mo its that cheese in a tube stuff, the lowsalt one or the one with ham in it. sometimes its yogurt, or peanut butter or some meat rammed in and sealed with some philadelphia, basically i try to make it as hard for her to get it licked clean as that way i have 20mins of her not mauling me!!!

Re: Am i being a thicko or what???
Ideas for filling a Kong.
Soaked dry dog food mushed and stuffed in - frozen if you want it to last longer. Left over roast dinner - again you can freeze it A wedge of cheese A touch of marmite (be careful to not do this to often as it's quite salty) smeared around the inside to lick out The same with meat spread, cheese spread or peanut butter. Dry food mixed with probiotic yogurht and again you can freeze this. Salt free stock frozen to make a doggie ice lolly treat. The Kong wobbler is good for dry food - the dog has to knock it around for the food to drop out. |
