Mekuti balance harness

A friend of mine has the world's sweetest goofiest labrador, but he is a dreadul puller.. his only vice really.

The owner refuses to use anything that may cause pain to the dog. SHe also doesn't like the idea of a headcollar (e.g. halti). But she was wondering about using the mektui balance harness.

Does this cause any discomfort to the dog? And is it effective?

I have only ever owned small dogs who walk well on the lead so cannot really ofeer any first hand advice. I have wlkaed big dogs (volunteering at sheltyers and also for friends, but I have never tried the ekuti balance harness (or similar) so I would like some opinions for people with experience. Thanks!

Re: Mekuti balance harness

I have been using it for some time now, no discomfort for the dog and it works a treat for us. He pulls a lot less even if I don't clip it fully now and we can do a lot of lose leash walking. I would def recommend it.

Re: Mekuti balance harness

The only complaint I have is that Ray's red and wash after wash it has taken more of a pink hue, not a tough look...
