Thats wonderful news, baby steps and you should get there in the end, dont matter how little the steps are especially in the early days as long as they are in the right direction, just go slow and steady at her pace.

thank you for all the advice i will contact the vet first thing tuesday morning to make an appointment for her and i will ask him for contact no for a behaviourist in my area.i am in no way going to give up on her even if it taken all her lifetime.she deserves a good life with love and she is going to get it here.there is one thing i feel really guilty about today when i went to collect her this morning the woman had another dog there a staffy who was very thin but she wouldnt leave me take him i feel really awful that i had to leave him there in the filthy house.

It is hard, but you cant feel guilty, you have given your girl a fantastic opportunity for a great home with lots of love, as much a we would like to we cant save every dog, by taking her and giving her a home you have made a difference, so you have nothing to feel guilty about.
