Daytime puppy class near Huddersfield

Hi.

We have a 5 month old border collie and I am struggling to find a daytime class to take her too. I can't do an evening one as I have no one to look after my son, so it needs to be whilst he is at school.

Does anyone know of a class or as a last resort a reasonably priced trainer that can do some 1 to 1 sessions with me to check I am on the right lines with our training?

Thanks.

Can you not bring your son to class with you?

Check out APDT's site - they have a location by location trainer search: Local Dog Trainers - Association of Pet Dog Trainers UK

Sorry, I can't offer any help, but I would like to say that bringing your son along would be a great thing. Training should involve everyone in the family as it means everyone has control over your dog or, more importantly, your dog will get used to responding to different people. Since your dog is young, it could be a really good thing to get your son cued up on training too!

In an ideal world I would take him but The classes are on quite late. He is usually in bed by 7pm because he is a very early riser!
