Crate training has gone really well....

... but how do I now make her realise that the whole flat is like her crate (i.e. not to be soiled).

My 7 month old puppy is great in her crate. She goes all night without a problem, but if she is just running around the house, she doesn't wait!

Most of the time I am getting her outside in time, so is it just a waiting game, or can I do something to make her feel the same way about the flat as she does about her crate?

Hi,

It's perfectly normal for your 7 months pup to have the occasional accident around the flat.

If you are around most of the day then just try to take her out every 5 hours or so, as well as watching for signs.

It just takes time

Trinny has only gone about 2-3 a day since she was 3 months old Jayjay still goes about 20 times a day at 7 months. We haven't had accidents for a long time!
