Lily is so much fun

Lily has started going out now. And it is like taking a child out for the first time. She really does take it all in. For instance today, i took her to see the ducks at the lake. And she just sat there, transfixed wondering what they were.

I then took her to the park, and I got ignored for 10 mins while she got fussed.

I then took her to my local bar, for socialisation purposes of course.

TOmorrow we are going to walk to a busy road and see how she is with lots of traffic.

Excellent its so good to get her out and about its so good for her socially. Also good if you can get her use to pubic transport and cars. I use to take Murphy my cocker to the pre school and even now if im at the school some of the kids remember him and come and say hello. He of course laps it up. He adores kids and they love that real dopey look, he loves to roll over and have his tum tickled

She goes in the car everyday - she comes to work with me (I work with kids).

I do want to get her used to public transport - trains and buses are on my to do list. She has (dont laugh) a Socialisation Planning Diary.

Thats brill you are planning things out well. If you work with kids then she will be socalised well with them. The dog shows and country fares are another good place to visit theres so much going on and loads of other dogs about. Along with the added fact there are normally alot of other people there with the same breed as you. Excellent for a good chin wag.

Sounds great = My owner took me on a bus recently! His friends all thought he was daft for bothering but I had fun and got to see what it's like to travel on a big metal tube with loads of other people!
