I thought closing the door on the crate was the problem?
If it is, you feed treats through the closed door when she's sat nice and calmly. (as i said in my first post, you treat THROUGH the bars then open the door)
If you feed a treat when the doors open you're teaching her having the door open is the good thing...
And sorry if i wasn't clear but you don't give multiple treats! You close the door, wait, give treat, then open the door. The 'wait' part of the training needs to get longer and longer to teach the dog to settle in the closed crate. What you need to do is extend the time between closing the door and giving her a treat - you start with seconds, then minutes, and build up to an hour (or until they fall asleep). And you could even mix in walking away from the crate during the 'wait' time and see if she's still calm, of so, treat through the bars. So that eventually she'll know that being in there is a good thing, and she might get a treat/praise out of it if she sits good for a long enough and it takes the stress out of it all because it's now a positive association.
